CORRECT USAGE
Recyclables should be clean and dry and placed loose inside the green or two-tone blue recycling carts.
Trash must be contained in securely tied bags and placed inside the solid blue trash cart.
Leave room for lids to easily close. Never clamp or tie lids closed.
PLACEMENT
Handles should face the house with lids opening toward the street or alley.
Carts must be at least two feet away from other objects that will obstruct the pickup arm.
TIMING
Place carts after 5 p.m. the day before collection and by 7 a.m. on collection day. Carts must be rolled back by 6 a.m. the day following collection.
