FAIRVIEW, TEXAS
The Town uses several citizen-run boards, committees and commissions to help ensure public input and participation for setting policy and making decisions. Members are appointed by the Town Council, usually for two-year terms.
To be eligible, individuals must be a registered voter residing in Fairview, may not be in arrears on property taxes and must complete an Application to Serve.
Economic & Community Development Corporation Board of Directors
The Fairview Economic Development Corporation (EDC) Board of Directors is responsible for promoting the economic growth and diversification of the Town of Fairview, and for overseeing the half-penny sales tax collected for this purpose. The Town of Fairview Community Development Corporation Board of Directors (CDC) is responsible for promoting the community through infrastructure construction projects funded through the half-penny sales tax collected for this purpose. Planning & Zoning Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends zoning and land use regulations for the Town of Fairview, consistent with the Texas Local Government Code, and assists Town staff and Council in reviewing specific applications for zoning and development.

Zoning Board of Adjustment

Public Art Committee
