Building Permits
Permitting and Development Submittals:
Our permitting Desk is open to the public for walk-ins. However, for your convenience we will continue to accept permits by email, mail, and drop off in the black drop box on the east side of the building by the curb.
Inspections:
For inspections, please call the inspection request line at (972) 886-4250 or email your request to permits@fairviewtexas.org before 4:00 p.m. for next day inspection. If you call after 4:00 p.m., your inspection may be rolled over the next business day.
Inspections are conducted between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and results will be left at the jobsite.

All submitted documentation will need to include the following:

Any plans submitted without including the above requirements will result in an automatic denial without review by the plan reviewer.

- New Construction
- Interior Remodels
- Additions
- Alteration and Repairs
- Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical
- Construction of Interior walls greater than 5 feet 10 inches in height
- Retaining walls
- Certificates of Occupancy
- Swimming Pools, Spas, Hot Tubs, Accessory Buildings,
- Lawn Irrigation Systems, Decks, and Patio Covers
