Senior residents (65 or older) may apply for a reduced charge of $22.18, (plus sales tax) for residential solid waste services. To receive the senior discount, residents must provide a copy of a valid document showing that at least one occupant of the residence is age 65 or older. Valid documents could include a driver’s license, passport or other government issued document identifying the occupant’s date of birth and current address.
The reduced monthly charge includes weekly trash and recycling collection, once a month curbside brush/bulk pickup and town administrative fee. Completed forms and documentation may be dropped off in person, mailed, emailed or left in the drop box outside Town Hall.
